The Hirzer Panorama Cable Car passes just to the side of Hotel
Hirzer and our hotel owner gladly accompanies guests for a walk
in the mountains with a delicious snack along the way.
We also organise guided walks with a qualified, experienced
guide for hotel guests from June to October as well as a once
weekly walk through the wonderful nature of the nearby Tessa Natural
Park.

Panoramic Cable Car takes you up to over 2,000 metres
in a couple of minutes.
Walks
in the Passiria valley
Backpack
ready and ... off you go for an easy stroll or more athletic
trek along safe, well-marked paths through the flower-covered
valley pastures - past bubbling brooks, fast-flowing mountain
streams, idyllic Alpine lakes ... and then
a stop at a mountain farmstead for a delicious snack and something
to drink. This is what holidays are made of! A relaxing walk
along the Waalwege, shady little paths which meander along
the farmers’ water irrigation
channels,
and through the perfumed apple orchards or a hike up into
the fascinating world of the Tessa Natural Park with its mountain
rhododendrons and Alpine flowers in bloom.

of this very special part of the country.
The
Passiria Valley Bus
The Passiria Valley Tourist Authority offers holiday-makers
the opportunity to leave their cars safely “in the
garage”. The special valley tourist bus service
will take you wherever you choose in the valley every
day and at a special price, too.
Our MiniMobilCard can be used throughout
the valley and on Merano town bus services for 7 days from
02.03 – 31.12.09 and costs just 6 Euro per person.
Both MiniMobilCards and normal single bus tickets are available
from the hotel reception as well as from the valley tourist
offices.
South
Tyrol MobilCard – is a special pass which
covers all public transport including cable cars throughout
South Tyrol and is valid for 3 or 7 days – Info. and
prices from hotel reception.

Alpine hikes
In partnership with the local Alpine Guides Association,
we offer Hotel Hirzer gusts a great choice of Alpine hikes
and treks.
